1. Eligibility
(1) At the time of the birth of a newborn, his/her parents or either of his/her parents had registered their household and lived in Mailiao Township for more than 1 year. Also, the birth date of said newborn has to be after (or on) June 1, 2012, and his/her birth has been registered with the Mailiao Township Household Registration Office.
(2) Registering household and living in Mailiao Township for more than 1 year refers to the status of those who never moved out of Mailiao when residing in Mailiao. The base date for calculating the number of days those who moved out of Mailiao and then moved back in will be the date on which they moved back in. However, this calculation doesn’t apply to those parents who once registered their households in Mailiao Township and were born here, or either one of them who has moved in to Mailiao Township for more than 6 months.
2. Amount of a monetary gift: NT$10,000 for each newborn
3. Required documents:
(1) Household Registration Transcript containing information on the birth of a newborn
(2) ID card and stamp of an applicant
(3) Farmers’ Association passbook
4. Application deadline: An application should be made within 3 months after the birth of a newborn. An applicant will be deemed to have waived his/her right if he/she makes a late application.
5. Funding date: the 15th and 30th of each month
6. Review period: Approximately 15 days
